Jessica grew up on a family horse farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Starting at a very young age she began begging her parents for riding lessons….and has never looked back.
Jessica was fortunate to have had access to some amazing trainers as a Junior rider. She was able to pay her way as a working student and learned everything from barn management and horse care to superior grooming skills, braiding, showing the hunters and Maclay Equitation. Jessica also had another advantage; a local horse dealer. He would drop horses off on a regular basis at their home for Jessica to figure out . She would take the time to get to know each horse, what they had to offer, and how to help them get what they needed to succeed. She learned to ride them and bring out the best in each horse as an individual and they would shine, giving them a second chance at a new life. Her passion at teaching and train grew from there.
Jessica has always been a natural teacher and loves it. She uses the firm but fair approach to teaching her students, horse to human. Whether it is working with a timid child getting started or a polished junior wanting to show or an adult that is getting back onto riding, Jessica is happy to work with each one individually to help them reach their goal.
